Background

I grew up in New York and developed a passion for math and learning at a young age. My undergraduate degree was earned back in 2016. Shortly after, I enrolled in a fully online, pure mathematics masters program, which was a huge challenge before COVID years taught us all about learning and teaching online.
When I'm not in the classroom as either a teacher or student, I love spending time gaming online with friends. Another favorite hobby of mine is crafting (knitting, journaling, cosplay making, etc.). At any given moment, you'll be able to find an unfinished project in my apartment. I prefer to call them works-in-progress!

Goals

My current professional goals include earning a certification for teaching computer science in additiona to mathematics. I would also love to teach AP Calculus down the road. Calculus was the course that solidified my desire to become a math teacher back when I took it in high school. To teach it, I think, would feel very much like completing a large part of what I've been working towards for the past decade.
